I am a family solicitor and partner based at the Sandbach Office. I read Law and English Literature at Staffordshire University and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course, obtaining a Distinction and qualified as a Solicitor on 1st February 2002. I joined Butcher & Barlow LLP in April 2007 and became a partner in 2009. I undertake all aspects of Family Law and although my client base is mixed, the majority of my cases are medium to high net worth cases and are often complex dealing with business assets and companies, farms, pensions and spousal maintenance. I am often involved in the arrangements for children to include the arrangements for where children shall live and how they shall spend time with the parent with whom they do not live and/or other family members including grandparents. I receive regular instructions concerning Special Guardian Appointments on the recommendation of the Local Authority.

Brilliant service, made my divorce quick and easy

Really great service and I would recommend to anyone. I was going through a difficult divorce which they made much easier with honest and helpful advice and took me through the whole process in an easy way. I feel like they made a difficult process relatively easy overall.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Angela Gleave assisting me with a Child Arrangement order, and cannot speak highly enough of the experience I received. Going through this was very traumatic and difficult and anyone who has to go through this will know just how hard it is, however Angela's genuine concern for my wellbeing and my daughter, and her proactive approach to helping us receive the best outcome was second to none. I cannot thank her enough!!
She provided expert guidance throughout the process and helped me receive the best possible outcome. Her communication was amazing and I couldn't of done this without her, I highly recommend using Angela and Butcher & Barlow for anyone seeking outstanding legal services. There was nothing that Angela didn't deliver. To any parent needing help, who feels lost and overwhelmed with the journey they have ahead you will be in safe hands Angela and her team!! Again Thankyou!!!

I called Angela Gleave when seeking an agreed child arrangement order. Angela is highly knowledgeable, personable, empathetic and very friendly. When things turned "Messy" Angela went out of her way to help us! There are not enough stars to rate her for what she did. My Biological Grandson now knows me as 'Mummy' and is happy and healthy. Angela had reason to call me outside of office hours just to calm me down, and tell me that we had nothing to worry about. Of course she was correct and I was the nervous wreck! She knows her stuff! I would absolutely recommend Angela for any family matters you may need help with. I know she will always remain my first 'Port of call!'

Incidentally, I have used Butcher & Barlow on 3 occasions and have had a favourable outcome each time.
