No major hiccups, some last minute anxiety
We bought our house through BLJ with nothing major going wrong. They were upfront about fees and there were no hidden fees or surprises along the way. The app was really helpful at the beginning when we were trying to keep track of everything that needed to be done. It was useful to have all communication in one place and not scattered throughout emails. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is that at the very end, the crux point of trying to complete, it was tricky to get hold of our solicitors to confirm information when we were getting nervy as first time buyers. We wanted a little more reassurance that everything was going to go ahead on the planned date. Overall, I would recommend.
