I would not recommend Simpsons solicitors in nailsea .
I came in to get my will done in 2024 before I go in for a major operation later this year. They happily took my money but I never heard back from them to say they had received the additional information they requested or that my will was ready to be signed. I called several times asking for an update but was never called back. I then went in several times to the office in Nailsea to ask for a refund due to the lack for professionalism and communication with its clients. I was fobbed off and said this would be done. I received nothing and no communication again. I went into the Nailsea office again & was then informed that the finance department is dealing with this & I should receive the refund within 28 days of my request. I have not received any refund. I do not believe a word they say and I don't believe they are going to give me my money back. I am now having to sort out my own will because I still don't have a will. I don't think I will trust any solitors again

Family members can change in the most distasteful way when money becomes an issue
In my particular case my Mother had a small lifetime mortgage with a high Street bank that behaved in an Xtra aggresive manner that you would think they were a back street loan shark

I can say now from experience that these matters are not always as straightforward as one may wish and as an executor of my Mother's will dealing with the issues was not an enviable task

I was however amazingly fortunate in one regard in that my Mother had had the good sense to also appoint a professional Co executor Right Group

My particular good fortune was to have my case looked after by by solicitor Sianead O'connor for whom nothing was too much trouble

Throughout the several years our case took to be finalised and despite the Xtra stress caused by the Bank Sianead remained professional and focused on achieving the very best outcome for myself and my family whilst honouring and respecting my Mother's wishes

It will be no surprise that I have not the slightest hesitation in recommending Right Groups services and in particular our solicitor Sianead O'Connor

As the executor in my father-in-law's will, I found Right Probate online and was given a free consultancy to explain what to expect from the process and an indication of price. As this was significantly lower than a local firm I decided to go with them. As always, the level of service usually depends on who you actually deal with. I was immensely fortunate to have one of Right Probate's solicitors, Darcy Blaney, looking after the probate along with her highly efficient Administrator Ellis. I cannot fault Darcy's work. Her attention to detail, excellent, professional and prompt communication were perfect for the whole process. I'm not sure how she managed it but she always responded to queries and I would never expect any solicitor to send emails on a Friday evening (21:22!) or on a Saturday morning as she did. She explained some of the complexities of the probate issues we faced in simple, easy to understand terms and even helped organise difficult ID checks. She made the whole process much easier and more efficient than I could ever of imagined. I cannot recommend Darcy (and Ellis) highly enough.

Shocking service. Took money from my parents to arrange a POA and they sent the forms to a company - Right legal' who don't answer their phone. So I can't get the Power of attorney my parents paid £300 in 2013! Shocking treatment in a person's most desperate hour.
