Ben, Yatin and the team were extremely helpful and supportive throughout my journey, at a time I felt awful and anxious, they all supported me and made me feel heard and comforted when I had awkward conversations/questions which were hard at times. Amazing experience, explained everything that was going on through the court proceedings. All paper work was on time. All polite and always called if I needed to ask for information or was unsure on something. I would recommend to anyone!

I am really appreciative of all the hard work and expertise of Yatin and Theo - they were knowledgeable, empathetic and were always 100% professional and worked with honesty and integrity from beginning to end, which made me feel like I was in very safe hands and meant I trusted their guidance. If I ever need legal representation again, I would not hesitate to call Yatin or Theo at Watkins solicitors.
Avoid ! Beverly Watkins advised us to accept a non molestation order despite being innocent to save on court fees. I was later falsely accused of breaching the order which has lead to two arrests and 24 hours in a police cell with no charge made, not Beverly’s fault there but I was NOT advised that I wouldn’t be entitled to legal aid having accepting the order through Beverly’s advice. She was aware that I was going to court to try and gain access to my daughter and all of this has hugely gone against me especially with not being able to afford legal representation. I was later advised by separate legal firms that I should never have accepted the order.
Watkins solicitors and in particular Louise Price were excellent in every way. Louise was not only extremely knowledgeable and efficient but personable, kind and supportive throughout what was a difficult time. She gave comfort, confidence and reassurance at all stages and in the court room was a strong, calm and caring guide. She did her job brilliantly and without fault. Watkins Solicitors has represented me in making two Judicial Review (JR) claims against my local authority (LA) now. These claims were focused on challenging the LA's decisions to withhold elements of my child's special education and social care provision. On both occasions, I found Watkins to be highly efficient, very sympathetic, and incredibly well-organised. I was only able to challenge my LA through the JR process because of the Legal Help Scheme and Legal Aid. It is becoming harder to obtain Legal Aid, as many solicitor firms do not offer this form of support. However, Watkins does, and, consequently, I have been able to take on my LA. Without Watkins' support, no doubt my child would still be without his specialist provision and suffering. For my last claim, I dealt with Gregg Burrough, who I highly recommend. He is an incredibly dedicated solicitor, working extremely long hours. His communication skills are excellent and he always replies to my emails immediately. He is so very courteous and understanding. I can't tell you how important it is for families to feel someone has their child's back when they all are feeling so vulnerable and exposed. I unreservedly recommend Watkins Solicitors to anyone seeking legal recourse via Judicial Review when needing to challenge an LA's unlawful decision-making. Watkins have excellent contacts and work alongside some inimitably qualified and experienced barristers. A truly excellent firm!

I first came across Watkins Solicitors after attending a free SEN event in Poole. At that point, I was completely at my wits' end. I had already secured an EHCP for my son, who has combined ADHD, but I was struggling to understand the next steps and was facing continual challenges with his school over reasonable adjustments. To be honest, the EHCP felt as though it was closing more doors than it was opening. That is where the team at Watkins Solicitors truly stepped in. From the outset, they took the time to understand both my son and our situation. They carefully reviewed and rewrote key sections of his EHCP and guided me through what felt like an overwhelming and often daunting process. As a property lawyer juggling a demanding workload, I appreciated their ability to cut through the complexity, focus on the issues that really mattered, and explain everything in clear, plain English. Throughout the matter, my son remained at the heart of every decision. Emma attended his annual review at very short notice and was a guiding light during a difficult period. I was always kept informed of any staff changes or developments, and every member of the team was calm, approachable, understanding and reassuring. Celine, Dylan and Sophia were instrumental in helping us reach the outcome we desperately needed. Their expertise, determination and attention to detail ultimately secured independent provision for my son in a setting that perfectly matched the recommendations of the educational psychologist. After a stressful summer spent waiting for decisions from the Local Authority, she effectively held my hand through the final stages of the process. Sophia adopts a relational approach to her work, actively sought to understand our family’s specific experience, and never forgot a child was at the centre of the stressful EHCP appeal process. As a result, she provided us with highly tailored, and accurate advice. The time taken to establish trust enabled her to provide us with both support and, at times compassionate challenge.
