I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Gavin Edmondson Solicitors. Going through a divorce is overwhelming at the best of times, and there were moments when I could barely put my thoughts into words, let alone make big decisions. From the very beginning, Edward Cooke showed a level of patience and understanding that I will never forget. I never once felt rushed, pressured, or judged – just genuinely supported during one of the hardest times in my life. They put an incredible amount of work into my case and fought hard to secure the best possible outcome for me and, most importantly, my children. It wasn’t just about the legal side – it felt like they truly cared about what we were going through and what our future would look like. What meant the most to me was that Edward really listened. Even when I didn’t always have everything clearly laid out or backed up with solid proof, he trusted me and guided me through it. That trust gave me confidence when I had very little, and in the end, it made a real difference and paid off. There were times I felt completely overwhelmed, but having someone so calm, patient and dedicated by my side made all the difference. Myself and my sister came to speak to Gavin about a serious offence that my nephew/ my sisters son had been convicted of. Gavin understood our concerns, listened and also took his time to give us clear advise. He was straight to the point which is how i think it should be. He also went over his time by another hour in which he didnt charge us for. All of his staff had gone home by the time we had finished talking. He also wanted us to let him know how the outcome went. Gavin is one of a high spec solicitors from the moment you walk in to the minute you leave. I would highly recommend Gavin Edmondson solicitors. I have had various problems with a family court visitation order put into place many years ago and have been struggling to find a solution without being held in contempt of the court. Edward Cooke has been absolutely fantastic and has successfully had the order discharged. This means the world to our family, particularly my daughter who is over the moon with the result. Our case has been handled efficiently, professionally and empathetically from day one. I have been consistently kept informed and have been reassured throughout the entire process. I can't thank Gavin Edmondson solicitors enough and would highly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.

I’m not entirely sure where to start with this review after my life was turned upside down in 2024 but if it wasn’t for Gavin, Sophie, April, Kayleigh, Terri and Edward, only god knows where I’d be today. I used the firm for child proceedings which ended with 50/50 shared care or in other words a “live with/live with” Order, divorce proceedings, financial arrangements/financial remedy proceedings, alongside other services on a fairly sensitive matter. I can now say with confidence that this firm is lead by an extremely skilled legal professional and advocate with a no-nonsense (yet very personable) approach, in Gavin Edmondson. At a time when everything was suddenly uncertain in life, he and his team brought some calm to the storm being faced by me and my kids, and for that, me and my family will be forever grateful.
