Sue Tonkin was always prompt and thorough throughout the process. It was apparent that the other party were the ones delaying the whole process, but we got there in the end, albeit with a different buyer.
Both Sue and Tina worked tirelessly across both my sale and my onwards purchase. Both were very quick to respond to communication, which I’ve never had with previous conveyancers. You really feel that they’re fighting your corner and not just ticking boxes. Highly recommended!
A huge thank you to Sue at Stockport for her professionalism and care during the sale of our Mum's property. The sale process became very protracted due to the low standard of other large law firms in the chain and her persistence and patience kept us sane during what has been an emotional time. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Engaged in July, no progress at all for weeks, unable to speak to Jo Lawson, when finally insisted on an appointment was told she was leaving that day! Went to office to complain and see MD, office was utter shambles, MD didn't even know who we were! Agreed to personally take work on but then passed it around a series of temps so we never knew who was dealing with our conveyancing from one week to the next! We had to do all the chasing for updates and were never proactively informed. Two ladies,Cath and Karen ,rescued our work and progressed it to the end so thanks to them are due. However even the final bill was wrong and did not include a 10 per cent discount for poor service which we were promised!

I would recommend THG for both conveyance and probate. The conveyance of my mother’s property was complex and involved additional work to be done by Ms Tonkin. She was efficient and effective, and always available for support

Tina has been absolutely exceptional from start to finish of our property purchase. Tina's communication was great, she was always available for any questions we had (which was a lot with it being our first house purchase) and clearly has a huge amount of knowledge and experience. She ensured that everything ran smoothly and honestly made the house buying process easy for us. I will definitely be using Tina for any future purchases and would highly recommend her to anyone starting out on this process.
