What clients say about So Legal Limited
Clients praise the firm’s conveyancing and residential property expertise, citing excellent service handling house sales and purchases, clear communication and professional, confidence‑inspiring solicitors. Soft skills valued include helpfulness, supportiveness, responsiveness, clear step‑by‑step updates, cheerful professionalism and reassurance during complex transactions. Negative feedback centres on one Brighton branch: poor communication, unanswered calls/emails, unreliable office access, inconsistent handling of documents, lack of visible senior solicitors and unprofessional conduct that caused stress. Overall strong technical conveyancing ability tempered by occasional local service and communication failures.

We used SoLegal when purchasing our first home. Everyone was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Any questions/queries were answered swiftly and all steps were communicated with us. Would highly recommended!
Absolutely awful experience from the Brighton branch of OSoLegal ,I would not recommend on any terms . They were recommended to me by an estate agent at Sawyers as I had no one in mind . Communication was far below acceptable . No one answers the phone , you leave a message no one gets back to use , email , no one emails back . even tried to call Eastbourne , answer phone , no call backs . Office in Brighton bell does not work ..no notice to let you know, My friend brought important documents down as arranged for me , rang bell , no response , went away thinking it was a lunch hour , returned an hour later , still no reply , by chance banged the door and was answered , documents gone through and ‘ took relevant ‘ ones but I had to return months later as some of the documents were not taken ,bell still not working months later . My sale was relatively simple in that no chain on either end ( but it is always full of problems as anyone who has bought and sold will know ) made the experience so stressful . I never actually saw a solicitor the whole time but an trainee in the waiting area which inspired no confidence in me . Very unprofessional and staff who from what I could see appear to think they are in an episode of Suits .
We used Georgia Donoghue for the conveyancing of my late mother's house. I reilly cannot speak highly enough of her. From her cheerful demeanour down to her professionalism. It was quite a complicated sale and we always felt aware of exactly the situation with the sale. 5 stars well earnt.
Katie guided us through an arduous selling process. At no point did I ever lose confidence or start to worry. Katie was so professional, expert and confidence inspiring! Many thanks, Katie!
