When I first contacted Carey New, I told her about my tendency to over-concede. I can thank her for ensuring that I left the family home with enough money and dignity to set up a new home. Her sharp insights and practical guidance on finance and childcare arrangements were much appreciated every step of the way. Olivia and the team supported me through my first (and hopefully last!) day in court. I appreciated their calm and reassuring presence. The efficiency of the Prince team was really reassuring throughout the most stressful time in my life. Securing the financial settlement, a workable arrangement for childcare and then supporting my decision not to go to the Final Hearing meant that I could actually enjoy the Summer with the kids rather than stressing about what-ifs. Difficult as it is to go through a divorce, having the right people on your team at least makes you sleep a little easier at night. I truly felt throughout the process that David and Robert were there to assist me, cared about the outcome and offered pragmatic advice (even if sometimes I may not have liked it). This kept costs reasonable and helped get things resolved as quick as they could.
