Rosie Korcz did the conveyancing for both our new house purchase and the sale of our listed farmhouse. I am the Hon Treasurer of a small, though international, association of Radio amateurs. one of our members passed away and left a generous donation to our association in his will. The solicitors acting as executors of his estate presented us with a demand for a very high inheritance tax which did not seem right. They dismissed my queries about the IHT so I approached Davis Blank furniss, Glossop branch and Ms Joanne Mercer agreed to take this matter up for me. Joanne was able to get a very large deduction in the amount of IHT being asked for, and our association ended up being many thousands of pounds better off. Joanne was very pleasant to deal with and I highly recommend her to anyone requireing similar assistance.
