    My case was damages for a car incident, car versus house, in which my insurer had not paid for a handful of things which were damaged such as plants in the front garden. The crash had also affected my health as it had happened during the night, and since I live on a busy main road the traffic and speeding cars was triggering, especially since the front of my house was damaged and open to the elements so road noise was louder. Fieldings Porter were brilliant, gave me guidance, had my health assessed, sought 12 sessions of counselling for me. My outlook improved and at the end there was enough money to replace everything I had lost and some extra for me. A great experience, and I got the sympathy and empathy I had expected but not received from my insurer when the event first happened.

    Dangerous solicitor and firm. Did the bare minium of legal aid work and selected an entirely bad barristers chambers with 3 people completely unorganized. Peter Cunliffe genuinely made things worse during this time.

    My wife was encouraged to leave feedback so here goes. I would NEVER use this firm ever again. We have virtually had to do all the work ourselves at such a stressful time. Calls don’t get returned, emails get ignored, work isn’t done and ridiculous excuses given. When you do speak to someone they are either incompetent or rude, and they constantly want to take or discuss money and their fees! I have used other solicitors in the past and never have felt so upset and let down by so called professionals.

    We paid up front for some advice about conveyancing and the advice was "yes we can sort this out for you no problem" so we paid another amount of money to see the specialist who told us "no we can't sort this". We only got part of the money for the second payment back. I would only use a solicitor who offers a free first consultation.

    Mr Allen, I am sorry to read your dissatisfaction that in 2018 under our fixed fee scheme in which you received advice and then further advice from another qualified lawyer that you decided not to proceed. Given that you chose not to proceed we correctly refunded money you had paid on account.
