I would just like to give my wholehearted thanks to the team at Rubin Lewis O’Brien, who were extremely helpful in getting a matter resolved for me. I turned to them, because the matter involving my late Mother’s estate was at a deadlock and not progressing as it should have. Chris Lewis & Lily Barker managed to get everything set out how it should have been done & within a matter of a few months, after almost 2 years, the estate was finalised. The whole team were there for me right from the start, on hand with any legal queries and support I needed. I could not be more thankful in getting what was a quite stressful time sorted. Tomos Carruthers provided an excellent service throughout the time he was dealing with probate and settling the estate of my late mother. From start to finish, Tom took me through every step of the process, through regular communication and nothing was too much trouble for him. He dealt with everything on my behalf and responded to emails very quickly and on the same day. He made everything so straightforward and I can't thank him (and Sarah) enough for taking all the stress out of a painful situation for me.

Lily Rafter-Ambrosen handled the sale of a house for us following a bereavement. She promised to make sure that everything would proceed efficiently and effectively, and that is precisely what she did.

Having recently gone through the loss of our mother I can honestly say I had no idea what being an Executor actually involves!! The complexity involved in winding up an Estate and dealing with the Probate, especially when other beneficiaries live some distance away (in our case overseas!) is particularly difficult. As appointed Executors for our mother’s Will, Damian and Danielle dealt with the phenomenal amount of paperwork, time consuming calls to utility suppliers, government departments and sorting out outstanding bills while we were able to cope with the emotional upset of losing our beloved mother. I am so incredibly grateful that I did not have to manage all this administration on top of everything else, and I really cannot thank the RLO team enough – you were a godsend at a particularly difficult time.
