I instructed Lauren Heathcote to assist me with an application to vary an existing Child Arrangements Order. My objective was to secure a 50/50 shared care arrangement for my son. Lauren not only supported that goal but, together with the excellent barrister she recommended, successfully obtained a Joint Lives With Order and secured the discharge of a restrictive order that unnecessarily limited my attendance at my son’s activities and events. Throughout what was inevitably a difficult and emotionally charged process, Lauren was outstanding. She combined professionalism, diligence and sound judgement with a calm, measured approach. She provided clear advice, kept a close eye on costs, and remained focused on the overall objective. One of Lauren’s greatest strengths is her quiet determination. She was never distracted by hostility or unnecessary conflict, instead staying focused on achieving the best possible outcome.
