I consider myself privileged to have been under the guidance and care of Aneesa Kaskar. Aneesa has such warmth, compassion and empathy of which was apparent from our very first conversation and so reassuring when you are dealing with probate after losing a loved one. Aneesa is gentle, kind, extremely professional and efficient and very patient. Julie is also lovely and was so supportive and generous with her time. Great local solicitors to use, our solicitor Aneesa, was professional, friendly, and supportive whilst managing our late mother's estate. Aneesa provided us with a clear pricing structure, so we knew what to expect when using her service to apply for Grant of Probate. Aneesa was efficient and always responded quickly with any query we raised. This provided us with the reassurance we needed at a difficult time as executors managing our late mothers' estate. We would highly recommend David Barney and Co to anyone considering using their services.
We had Dani Batson helping us with my mother's estate after her death. There was a lot to do and we required probate matters to be dealt with. We cannot fault the service we received and Dani was very helpful & understanding. We were so impressed with the service that we also chose to use David Barney solicitors during the sale of my mother's house. Ignore any poor reviews, these guys are fantastic - Lauren Jarmain-Chew in particular. Incredibly efficient and professional, and a completely different experience to my last house purchase. I never had to chase them to get something done, which I didn't know was possible with a conveyancer! Would highly recommend.

I appointed David Barney and Co to handle both the purchase of my new property and the sale of my existing one, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received from start to finish. Communication was second to none and the team kept me fully informed at every stage, promptly answering any questions I had. In what can often be a stressful and drawn-out process — especially completing on both properties the same day — they made the whole thing feel smooth and straightforward. We purchased our first house ten years ago. Our solicitor then was uncommunicative; didn't have enough staff to cover and our purchase took close to six months in a short chain - everyone agreed that our solicitor then was what kept up the entire chain. Dealing with Beverly, Mark and the rest of the team was a very refreshing change. All queries were responded to promptly and everyone involved seemed to know exactly what was going on with our sale/purchase. We again found ourselves in a relatively short chain - but this time everything was done in just over 8 weeks. The various estate agents we spoke to predicted about 12 weeks at best so we were quite impressed. We would again like to thank the team for this expediency and their professionalism.
Absolutely fantastic. My partner and I recently purchased our first home - very much like rabbits caught in headlights with very little knowledge of the conveyancing process. Our purchase was somewhat more complex, made difficult by some mortgage issues, than we had initially hoped. Despite the absolute headache, Mark, Sam, Stevie-Jean and the rest of the team were always on tap to reassure us and answer any questions. Nothing was too much fuss and there was always someone on the end of the phone. I cannot recommend Mark and his team enough, they are incredible efficient, effective and diligent. We wouldn’t think twice to employ their services again. Thank you David Barney and Co for making our first home purchasing experience a positive one! Oh and we completed at 9AM! Their finance department are on it!
