We wanted advice on how to proceed with an issue with my car. We were advised by reception this would be a free initial consult. We had a 40 minute session and then was charged £180 to be told to email the existing owner of the car. We got nothing from the solicitor so why did we have to pay such an amount?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I instructed Andy to help put proper governance arrangements in place for a long-established family land-holding company. The work involved preparing a Shareholders' Agreement and advising on a number of complex issues around share transfers, succession, minority protection and company governance. Throughout the process, Andy was knowledgeable, responsive and patient in answering what was, at times, a long list of questions. He took the time to explain the legal principles behind the drafting, challenged historic practices where necessary, and helped us reach a practical solution that protects both the company and its shareholders. I particularly appreciated that he welcomed questions and provided clear explanations, enabling us to make informed decisions rather than simply accepting legal wording at face value. We're now in a much stronger governance position than when we started and have a Shareholders' Agreement that is tailored to our company and its future. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Andy and Clough & Willis for corporate and shareholder legal advice.
