Poor

We have had an ongoing situation with Hegarty for 2 years now with regards to the 'Freehold' of our property. Hegarty's have been excruciatingly slow to respond and to fix this mistake that their team made by not checking fully before sending out the deeds. The last update they helpfully told me 'it is quite expensive so we are going to contact the original seller solicitors to get some of the money back' it has nothing to do with them, so this is a wasted exercise. To be honest I just want this all sorted and I am passed the point of caring about how much money they claw back for their error. In my last email I made it clear that I had had enough and that I would like more communication and was willing to be a bit more pro-active in getting answers. To top it all I called for an update this morning to find they have appeared to block my mobile number (I didn't even call them that much). I tried calling them from my mobile and it didn't go through, just said call failed, I then used 141 from my mobile and it rang, just as a tester I then tried again to call from my mobile without 141 and it didn't go through, called failed again. I wish we had not gone with Hegarty's as they were recommended by the Estate Agents who don't use them anymore. There was no phone call despite the assurance of the response from the marketing manager today answering the Google Review I left, not that I was expecting a call at all, but thought it was worth mentioning the lip service did not come through. I will be making sure I post on as many platforms as I can so that people are fully informed of how badly mismanaged this has been.

Watch out for they scam

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS IF YOU FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR SELF, FAMILY AND OTHERS ARROUND YOU.

I had court case which is now finished for almost 2 years, however it could of ended in worst case scenario 10 months, however every single time solicitor Lesley Knight had instructions to follow certain decisions by myself as a client she always turns arround all instructions into something that would cause court case to be extended and then you end up paying more fees.

they also without you knowing dispense your payments into all bills together and then charge you fees for biils that has been there the longest. so for example i had bill back in 2018 and even though i paid 3x more of that bill invoice already ( bare in mind each invoice have their own numbers and thats what you expect to be paid if you making payments) however they disperse your payment where they want from your total so making your previous bill go over 6,10 or 12 months since and fees increase.

let alone solicitors asked for £2000 deposit and then estimate of my court case went from 2000 to £12000+

then they send you outdated bills and you have to do the run arround to make sure they log your payments.

they do not stand for you they stand against you and do minimal job to make sure court takes place as long as they can expecially if you paying out of your own pocket.
