My solicitor took the time to understand the full picture, kept me updated regularly, and was realistic about timelines and costs. In what is often a stressful and emotional process, they made it feel manageable and straightforward. The firm has clearly been around for a long time (over 180 years!) but they’re not old-fashioned in their approach — everything was handled efficiently with modern communication (email, phone, and secure portal).I particularly appreciated their straightforward fees and no surprise bills. Would definitely recommend DFA Law to anyone in Northamptonshire needing reliable solicitors for wills, probate, family law, or property matters. Highly recommended.

Slow to get things done. Needed to chase them up repeatedly following a bereavement. Paid the best part of £10k for an estate totaling just over £200k. Not bad work for a few dozen emails, a zoom call and calculations for my parents estate.

Consistently Excellent Service – Four Years On I first used DFA Law around four years ago and left a positive review at the time. Having now returned to them for another property transaction, I am genuinely pleased to say that the same high standard of service is still there. Natalie Grant handled my recent matters with professionalism, efficiency and genuine care throughout. Communication was always clear, responses were prompt, and everything was dealt with smoothly from start to finish. I had two linked property transactions to complete, and Natalie managed everything extremely well. What made it even more reassuring was that the estate agent also commented on how impressed they were with the way Natalie and DFA Law handled the transaction. It is easy to provide good service once, but maintaining that same standard over a number of years says a lot about a firm.
