I recently contacted OTB Legal and spoke with Atty, who gave me 30 minutes of her time free of charge. She listened patiently to my whole story and then explained very clearly and honestly that my chances of success were low, so she wouldn't advise going ahead with the application. When I explained my financial situation, she also talked me through other options and the possible outcomes, in a way that was easy to understand. Very few lawyers take the time to listen properly and give a realistic view at the start without charging a consultation fee. Too often firms take a large fee and submit an application regardless, leaving the client to deal with the financial consequences.
