We've just moved house, a process which has taken 5 months. I cannot comment on the quality of EMG's work because I have no information whatsoever as to what has been going on. Until the last couple of days, we had zero telephone calls. When we have emailed with questions there has either been no response at all, or a very brief one, giving no new information. We've actually had more info from the vendors and our buyers than from the people acting for us. Her assistant Lisa proved helpful at the end of the process. Exchange and completion took place on the same day, from mid afternoon, causing us to lose our removals company and costing an extra £900 to find an urgent replacement. Shambolic.

Overall excellent with only a few glitches around communication but they pulled it out the bag and completed within 7 days which was my goal. I will use them again.

I was recommended EMG by my mortgage broker, Ashley, Janet and the team were fantastic. Explained everything very clearly throughout the whole process and their communication was excellent throughout. I had to pull out of a purchase due to cladding issues and I feel their advice could of helped me potentially save thousands of pounds in the future. The purchase that has just completed went a lot smoother thankfully and all the credit goes to Ashley and Janet and the rest of the team. I would recommend EMG to anyone to needs a solicitor for a house purchase. Thank you very much Ashley and Janet for all their hard work and patience getting my purchase over the line for me. I will 100% be using EMG for any future conveyancing I cant recommend them enough.
EMG were excellent at conveyancing my mother's house in Hexham using my Lasting Power of Attorney. It wasn't a straightforward sale but they were always there quickly with very professional advice and good online systems. Baljinder Gadi and Lisa Smiles in particular were very helpful with calm and sensible advice.
