Laura has been amazing to work with on several matters. Sadly my Mum was diagnosed with incurable cancer and died after a very short illness. Time pressures were high as Mum’s house, our family home for 55yrs, was not registered with Land Registry. Laura’s team expedited this with HMLR and this meant Mum’s Will could be completed in time. Laura also dealt with the conveyancing on the probate sale - and handled a rather tricky buyer’s (cheap online) conveyancer professionally and patiently. Laura was instrumental in driving our agent to reach exchange and completion - when at times we considered pulling out of the sale and delisting. Overall her empathy, care, candid communication and ability to raise a smile, made all the difference. During tough times kindness is invaluable - and Laura is truly kind. I would never consider working with anyone else on a sale or a purchase. I have also recommended Laura to three other buyers - all have been equally impressed with her service and advice. Brilliant. We cannot recommend Emily Allen and the team at HCR Law highly enough. From instructing them to completing on our new home, the whole process took exactly 14 days, which was an incredible turnaround. What made it even more impressive was the amount of pressure and tight deadlines involved towards completion. Despite a few last minute complications outside of their control, Emily remained incredibly responsive, proactive and reassuring throughout. Buying a house can be stressful at the best of times, but having someone who is on top of everything, communicates clearly and genuinely seems to care makes such a huge difference. Emily was professional, efficient and incredibly knowledgeable, and we always felt that things were being dealt with promptly and thoroughly. Sarah was fantastic from the word go, but really kicked into another gear when solicitors up the chain were dragging their feet and putting the chain at risk.
