I recently used this firm for the purchase of a property, and the entire process was nothing short of infuriating. At no stage was I provided with regular updates or even basic correspondence. I constantly had to chase them for information, making repeated phone calls just to understand where things stood. It became painfully clear that there was a complete breakdown in communication between the solicitor assigned to my case and her assistant – neither seemed to know what the other was doing. As we neared the completion date, I discovered — not through MKB, but through external parties — that the wrong paperwork had been sent to the seller’s solicitor, causing a serious delay. When I raised this with MKB, they seemed completely unaware of the issue and, to make matters worse, failed to follow up with any explanation or update. I was left in the dark at a critical point in the transaction. This level of negligence and disorganisation is unacceptable. I will never use or recommend this firm again. Approach with extreme caution. They added unnecessary stress to what is already a demanding process.

Kept in contact throughout the proceedings, gave great advice, assisted in family/child protection/domestic abuse, sensitive to information and details, really am so grateful for all the team did for me and my children.

I had the good fortune of securing Rachael Burley of MKB Solicitors as my representative in a complex set of family law proceedings that went on for well over a year, she was kind, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. In the beginning of my family troubles I called around about 4 different solicitors firms, not one seemed particularly interested in the severity or the urgency of which the problems my family was facing, after one call with Rachael, she was on it with getting the matter heard in court, filling out the necessary paper work and liaising with the court to get the situation looked at as a matter of urgency. In the end we managed to get the result that we needed and we are now able to move forward with our lives for the better. I honestly can't thank the staff at MKB enough for all of their hard work!
