Paid for a new will over 12 months ago and also for a change to title ownership status for two rental properties. Best part of a year later and when I contact them their person has left and no one was picking up the work. When someone did check the work, neither of two things had been completed. This itself is shocking but it gets worse. May-24 I'm given a new person to work with and as I have not had any input/response for a while I tried to call them today (29-Aug-24) so they only had three whole months to pick up and resolve things. Firstly I couldn't contact them as they had been using the incorrect address and phone number in their email signature. Secondly, the person handling my affairs to resolve the outstanding has now also left. And yet again, no one has picked up the case file. What sort of business cannot do basic customer service? How can a firm of solicitors with their high rates get away with such non-existent customer service? I have tried to reach someone senior in the business but there are no names. The main website doesn't even provide an email address or a form to submit. Just went to look at Companies House to find names of actual Directors... and their company hasn't even filed their own Confirmation Statement in time. They are breaching HMRC Companies House rules of not having a valid Confirmation Statement. Wish I had not come across them and can't believe others are not having similar experiences as from my experience its not about one person getting something slightly wrong or a basic typo, its just they have no systems and processes in place for these basic tasks to go through. I will update if I'm able to when I hear back. I wonder if the Legal Ombudsman getting involved would cause them to wake up. Richard Hall

Took 10 weeks to obtain title deeds for my Mums house. First they sent me the wrong form, nobody bothered to tell me until I called them 3 weeks later. Sent in the documents, again nobody bothered to call me. After 2 weeks I rang them (good luck getting through) and on the 8th attempt was told I still needed more documentation which I wasn't told initially, or in the other conversions I had with them. Sent in the required documents and again, nobody called me or acknowledged my email. Rang them 13 times and eventually was told my deeds were there. Arranged to pick them up and the day I went to get them the girl was off sick!! I did get them the same day as I refused to leave without them. Utterly shambolic service from start to finish! Lack of communication and understanding.

When our Solicitors of decades seemed to disappear we were very concerned regarding the whereabouts of our original wills as we wanted to make changes to them. All came to light when we received an email from Simpsons Solicitors explaining that Right Legal had taken over our previous solicitors and that Simpsons were the branch of the group dealing solely with Wills, Probate and LPAs. However it was with some hesitation that we agreed to a free consultation with Albi Latifi. We should not have worried! Within 10 minutes or so Albi had put our minds at rest. He was incredibly informative and able to answer every question we threw at him. He's extremely friendly, explains everything in simple language and did not end the meeting until he was satisfied that we fully understood what was being proposed. We could not have received a better service.

Wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy! Lack of communication is unreal. Constantly ringing/ emailing them, never get replies. Originally started Wills and LPA's in October 2024, 15months on and LPA's still not sorted its beyond a joke. Solicitors Fern Kersey, her manager Darcey, solicitor Elliott Hearn and all his side kicks , complaints woman Leigh Wilkinson, Admin, Chris Jones, are all definitely as bad as each other. Leigh Wilkinson said she took on board all what I said but guess what they are still as bad. I asked for my money back but was told as the work has been done and completed then we couldn't. If the work is completed why am I still no further on than we were 12 months ago. I could go on!!! So please DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. I wouldn't give them the one star but I have to or it wouldn't post!!

I was extremely pleased with the way in which my appointment with the visiting solicitor was conducted. He was on time, polite and very helpful, explaining very precisely all that I needed to know. I am really satisfied with the service I have received.
