Top 10 of 849 law firms for Employment Appeal Tribunals, Appeals Law

Law firms ranked by client reviews

This area covers appeals from Employment Tribunals in England to the Employment Appeal Tribunal, primarily dealing with questions of law arising from unfair dismissal, discrimination, or other tribunal outcomes. A solicitor practising here will analyse tribunal decisions, identify legal grounds for appeal, draft the notice of appeal and grounds, and prepare submissions and bundle material for the EAT. They liaise with the client, respond to responses, and handle procedural steps such as directions, hearings, and possible further appeals to the Court of Appeal if required.

What a solicitor handles in these matters

The solicitor handles issues such as misapplication of discrimination law, errors in the interpretation of pay and redundancy rules, and procedural flaws in the tribunal process. They draft grounds of appeal, prepare legal authorities, and manage the EAT's procedural timetable, including any possible cross-appeals. The complexity arises from interpreting statutory provisions, case law, and the evolving body of employment jurisprudence, and from the need to align the appeal with strict tribunal rules and interlocutory requirements.

Yes/no satisfied of the outcome because I know I was pushed to plea guilty because the barrister said the jury will find me guilty even if I didn't do anything. My solicitor at WhiteRoseBlackmans told me to plea not guilty because no evidence on one matter but never did anything wrong to the other matter either. Just silly things I said. I am going to wait until I get out to see if I can overthrow my convictions. Can't believe the jury would find me guilty on no evidence. I should have never been put in here because of what I went through in my childhood in the 80s, been let down like children are today getting blamed for something not their fault.
