Working with Richard at Downs Solicitors was an excellent experience from start to finish. He played a pivotal role in steering our client through the sale of their business, guiding them carefully through every stage of the legal process and ensuring the transaction stayed firmly on track and on time. Richard’s professionalism, attention to detail, and calm, measured approach gave everyone confidence throughout what could have been a very complex and stressful process. He was particularly impressive in the way he interpreted and distilled key legal points for our client, clearly highlighting the issues that genuinely required their consideration while preventing unnecessary distractions. This allowed our client to make informed decisions quickly and with confidence. His communication was consistent, clear, and proactive, and he worked collaboratively with all parties involved to keep momentum in the transaction. We greatly appreciated his commercial awareness and practical mindset, which were instrumental in achieving a smooth and successful completion. We would not hesitate to work with Richard again and would highly recommend him and the team at Downs Solicitors to anyone navigating a business sale.
