“I used the services of Evolve Law from 2022-2023. From my first meeting to the end of my court case, I received a personalised service. My Solicitor A.O, was professional, accommodating and supportive. I was relaxed throughout the whole process for someone who gets anxious easily. I was able to get the right child order that worked fully in the best interest of my child. Court proceedings for Child order can be stressful and daunting, but with the right firm and Solicitor, I felt supported in my decisions and got the right advice when I needed it. I will highly recommend using Evolve Family Law for any Family matters. They deserve 5 Stars...”

“James has represented me as a Barrister in the last two court hearings in complex proceedings for child arrangements that lasted two years and with a last bundle of documents comprising of 389 pages. Although he wasn’t representing me for the first three hearing, his knowledge and insight on my case was excellent and what he brought to the Court attention in my last two Position Statements was decisive. His help and idea, to apply for an urgent in person hearing to solve a mistake made by an external agency for a Psychological Assessment ordered by the Judge, was crucial. Without his professional advice we wouldn’t have been able to submit such an important document. I am very grateful that, even though he is a In-House Barrister, he agreed to represent me also in my last hearing, even though it was a Pre-Trial of a Fact Finding Hearing. As the proceeding where taking a high toll on my mental health, with anxiety and PTSD, I appreciated very much his calm composure, preparedness, capacity to build trust and his empathy. ”

“My husband and I are citizens of the United States. We needed the services of a firm that would specialize in family law because we were being denied reasonable access to our grandchild who lives in the U.K with her parents. There had been a breakdown in communication between the adults over a money matter and and the parents of our grandchild were keeping us from having regular visits; most of them being through Skype because of the geographic distance between us. We tried in vain for several months to work this out with the parents directilhy but they were determined to keep our contact with our grandchild to the bare minimum and we were devastated by this because we love our grandchild beyond measure. We began to interview family law firms when we realized we were going to have to have help to resolve the matter. After speaking with a couple of firms we were feeling a bit discouraged until we found Fiona Bruce Solicitors. To say the were a send to us would be an understatement. Throughout the whole process they were professional, understanding and compassionate. Our case was handled expertly by Solicitor Leah Knight. We were well aware that in the U.K. grandparents rights are not held in the same regard as they are in the United States and so we were unsure that we would even have our case heard by the court. However, Ms. Knight helped us forge ahead with thoughtful representation at every turn. She guided us through the process and always made us feel comfortable; explaining matters, answering our many questions and, at times she did some hand holding (even if it was over Skype). It was difficult and painful for us to bring our matter to court but we knew we had to do this in order to have our visiting and communication restored with our grandchild, who is at a very tender young age. Ms. Knight never waivered in her representation for us. She honored our time and was always prompt in her responses to our questions. She knew how difficult this was for us but she gave us the confidence to keep moving forward. We got through the process and were elated when the court ruled in our favor. Afterwards we said to ourselves, "If this is the kind of representation Leah Knight gives grandparents from the United States, imagine how she and her firm would be working for clients within the U.K.!" We will be forever grateful to Ms. Knight- and to the whole team at Fiona Bruce and we recommend them to anyone seeking counsel in a matter of family law. ”
