Dear Julie, I was made redundant in July and was advised by my company to speak with a solicitor about my redundancy settlement. Not only was I upset and worried about the situation, but also very scared and nervous about contacting a solicitor as this was all new to me. I contacted Kingsfords and spoke firstly to Jacqueline Chappell, who was very helpful and gave clear instructions on what I needed to send to her. When I first read through my settlement agreement I didn't really understand what it all meant and so when Leigh took the time to read through it line by line to explain things in simpler terms, it wasn't so overwhelming. Alex Mancini was able to assist me on short notice with review of a redundancy agreement. We were able to sit together and review the agreement in full. He took the time to explain certain portions which may have otherwise escaped my attention. We were able to adhere to the strict budget set by my company.
