Flexible working covers how a person structures their work time and location, such as remote or home working, compressed hours, or shifted patterns, often under a statutory right to request. A solicitor in this area helps with making, reviewing, and negotiating flexible working requests, drafts accompanying correspondence to an employer, and prepares for any appeal or grievance if a request is refused. They also advise on how flexible working interacts with rights and duties under the Employment Rights Act and related employment policies.

“I was introduced to this company through my union and from day one I knew I was in good hands with my case. Hanna Mitchell was absolutely amazing explaining everything to me on how my case would be handled, she kept me informed with what was happening and what she needed from me. Her communication was second to none and the outcome exceeded my expectations and I can’t thank her enough . So thank you very much.”

“Great service form start to finish. With the help from Hannah Ross and Sarah Sowden, they managed maternity cover and a very tricky and slow opposition. All whilst being considerate of my incurring costs and an emotional and stressful situation. For me however, it's always the human approach they take and for this, I'd happily always recommend to anyone and everyone. ”
