Two years ago I used the services of Slater Heelis to arrange a Capacity Assessment for my sister and just recently a Deed of Variation for her will. Prior to that I had used the services of Towns Neesham, a firm who later joined with SLater Heelis, where they had dealt with the purchase of father's house, the subsequent transfer of ownership to my sister, prepared my sisters will and later dealt with the sale of her house. I have every confidence in the excellent services and guidance given by the Slater Heelis solicitors and I would use the firm again.

We recently appointed TV Edwards as we needed to make some changes to the lease on our property. The solicitor that we worked with was Edwyn Traill. There were quite a few complications to the matter including the revision of existing contracts and deeds, liaising with various parties and checking the contents of historical leases. Edwyn kept us fully informed of the timeline and the progress of work. We were most impressed with how clearly he communicated everything to us, making quite complicated matters easy to understand. This led to all work being completed to an extremely high standard and in good time. We were very impressed with Edwyn and would look to use him in future.

This is the third time I have used Taylor and Emmet for my house conveyancing and overall I was equally happy with this experience. I did have some early frustration with trying to find the right person to answer a query I had. While I understand the increased efficiency of completing forms online, I had to try several different times to find someone who could answer my question about whether I could proceed even though the vendor had not obtained probate in order to sell the property. However, after that the work was completed smoothly and efficiently and I was kept informed during the exchange and completion phase of the transaction.
