Many thanks to Ravi and Javairia for making what could have been a stressful property sale and purchase as pain free as they could. I genuinely don't think that any part of their service could have been improved upon.
I've been a good customer to Penman's, using them for my first house purchase in 2017 and coming straight back to them to complete a house sale and purchase this month. I've spent thousands. Even recommended my brother to this firm who used it for his house purchase a few years ago (in fact he's even left a 5* review). Charles Glover who just completed my purchase and sale was great, can't fault him really. Unfortunately my experience was just tainted completely as I was hit with a £150+VAT cancellation charge for some paperwork I changed my mind on which was originally costing £300+VAT on completion. A basic declaration of trust form. Besides an initial conversation and apparently a draft I really didn't think much had been done with it hence my disappointment. Furthermore, I was in discussions to draw out a will with Penman's. I expressed my dissatisfaction explaining my history as a customer with this firm, and the fact I was going to spend more money with them - unfortunately they opted to proceed with charging me £150+VAT cancellation rather than do what most would consider logical, which is take more business from a willing customer which in turn would earn the firm more. Terrible customer service in this moment to ruin the whole experience - and a shame as my brother is just starting the process to start his house sale...
Used for Sell/ Buy conveyancing, competitive pricing and Sue did a great job keeping on top of the file, really appreciate!
Recently used Penmans for Conveyancing on a house purchase. Working with solicitors on a daily basis on commercial properties, I'm used to the varying degrees of speed. Christie was amazing, incredibly efficient, I'd go as far as to say the woman is a machine. Christie managed to get me over the line within six weeks from being handed my purchase. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.
Penmans in Kenliworth could not have done a better job of managing the conveyancing for my mother's recent house move. They were professional and efficient, with fantastic communication throughout. A big thank you to Sue and the team.

Impressed and grateful that Penmans Solicitors offer a free half an hour appointment for advice regarding deceased estates. This in turn led us to use Penmans for dealing with some of my late mothers estate and the writing of our wills. Laura is friendly, helpful and efficient.

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy. Having reviewed our records, we have been unable to find any record of you being a client of the practice. As a result, we are unable to investigate or comment on the concerns raised in your review. Concern was that a Neale Bell was taking all my private info, files, medical reports, and yet stopped responding to give acknowledgment or to proceed or not proceed. Perhaps they don't need me as a client but have the courtesy to say so, confirm receipts of sensitive files as they requested, and due to a sudden stop- no response from them I then emailed to request they permanently delete all files/records of me, but received automated email instead. So please DELETE my info you have on your records of me since you suddenly stopped to bother answering my questions. Thanks.
