    Amanda Edgar and Team

    Amanda and her team were extremely helpful, patient and approachable throughout the entire process. They explained all parts of the process and I was able to call and speak to somebody if necessary. It took nearly 6 months as there were 10 properties in the chain but we got there! I would highly recommend her!

    Friendly and Efficient Service from Nice People

    This was a conveyancing transaction involving sale of a house on a private estate. Our solicitor was very patient in explaining the vagaries to a London law firm who did not seem to understand the concept of voluntary shared costs and responsibilities.

    Great experience working with GWCA to secure our first home. We were dealing with Amanda and Macy who were both lovely. We were due to be kicked out of our rental on a date close to the estimated completion time which was quite stressful. Amanda and Macy went the extra mile to get contracts exchanged and completed in a short period of time so that we could seamlessly move straight from our rental to house purchase.

    I used GWCA Solicitors for conveyancing when I purchased my leasehold flat. The property included an extension which was clearly disclosed by the seller and required freeholder consent, but GWCA failed to secure this or warn me properly about the risk — even though their own correspondence showed they knew about the issue. Years later, this oversight has cost me thousands in surveyor’s fees, a retrospective licence, and I was forced to accept a lower sale price due to missing paperwork that should have been dealt with at the time of purchase. When I complained, they destroyed their file, refused to take responsibility, and told me it was my job as the client to check the lease plan myself! I’ve had to escalate my complaint to the Legal Ombudsman and prepare a legal claim to recover my losses. I do not feel GWCA acted with care or professional diligence, and would not recommend them for leasehold conveyancing.
