These solicitors was appointed by admiral Insurance to fight the case for a non-fault road traffic collision (as a good gesture I've moved the solicitor name from the review as she called me today as she was not happy naming i find it very unprofessional that the person named called me) she did not take any notice that i was coarsed for taking the blame something i know was not my fault! ??? The solicitor very lack of communication, It was me who had to call them. Was told days before the court date that the barrister that should have been representing me had been changed to another barrister but I didn't even know that I had a first barrister to represent me days before court. After meeting the barrister in court (he is the one who got meto tell Hf im taking for responsibility for an accident but he did not tell the solicitor on the phone the full reason behind it. These solicitors dont follow up complaints fairly. At court. I started to explaine to the barrister the road i was taking and the road signs also the road layout there he stopped me explaining so i did not even get to discuss the accident with him. He scared the living daylights out of me and said what i wrote in my court statement i could get done for a criminal offence contempt of Court. As i was not sure what this ment at the time this made me very stressed and my anxiety went through the roof because of his miss information at the time I was not aware of this. The barrister said the other driver was not in the wrong lane also its a 3 exit roundabout but its not its a 5 exit roundabout. I felt that I had no choice but to accept full liability to an accident that was not my fault because of the information that I was given at the court by the barrister. I made a complaint that these solicitors was trying to pass it back to Admiral Insurance and back to HF again. I've lost out 300 pounds excess two years van insurance increases two years car insurance increases this will go on for 5 years also a fault claim on my driving record. The solicitor would not take any responsibility that i was wrongly advised by their barrister. Ive now got the proof 2 d.a.r.s from the council Road traffic department that manage the roads and signs where the accident happened and got the proof that i was not wrong in my statement to the court and should never been put under pressure so i had no choice to accept liability and being told I can get into trouble for contempt to court so there barrister missed inform me maybe he's not a car driver and does not know the high way code himself. I'm really disappointed that I've actually had to leave this review for a professional solicitors even since ive had to change this review and add more to it after the call today. I would not have thought this would have happend, they were trying to get out of things and not accept that their lack of professionalism and not listening to my complaint. HF employed the barrister.
