After completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford, obtaining a distinction, Jessica joined the firm in 2012 as a paralegal, before commencing her solicitor’s training contract in 2013. Jessica qualified as a solicitor in 2015 into our Wills and Probate department along with qualifying as a full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2017. In April 2022 Jessica was promoted to a partner within the firm. Jessica is also a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser, and was awarded the Spofforth Medal, by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), for achieving the highest mark in the UK in the Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates exam.

professional, approachable and knowledgeable.
We are extremely happy with the service provided by Jessica and her team.
He arranged Deed of Trusts for us and also wrote our Wills.
She is very friendly and always available to answer all the questions that we had.
We are also very impressed with the depth of her knowledge and the advice that she gave us.

Assistance with Probate and Will
Jessica Measham has provided me with excellent legal services on two recent matters; assistance in obtaining a probate and in writing a Will. Her advice and guidance through the legal process is first rate and her attention to detail ensures the process is smooth and efficient. With regards to the Probate matter, Jessica also proved her worth in chasing up HMRC and challenging the IHT calculations when they finally arrived. Very pleased
Jessica dealt with an amendment to 2 x mirror wills, involving my wife and I, to add name changes, children and a simplification of the share between beneficiaries.
Reasonably priced.
Jessica is very professional, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable.
I would hesitate to recommend and use Jessica’s services again.

Will writing service
I was impressed right from the start. A good interview, during which, i received excellent advice and all of my wishes were noted. They were then included in a clear and concise manner in my will, which was produced for checking and subsequent signing in a timely manner.

Dealing with Probate
I have had to deal with two family deaths in the past few years and as is normal have had to apply for Probate for each one. Using Churchers Solicitors was an easy and simple choice. Staff were exceedingly helpful and made everything very easy. The solicitor in both cases (Miz. Measham) was a pleasure to work with and carried out everything in a straight forward and knowledgeable manner. I would thoroughly recommend Churchers and will use them again as required.

Our heartfelt thanks to Jessica Measham for her caring and professional support to our family. Both of our parents died within days of each other just before Christmas 2020. As we struggled with grief and the difficulties a double death involves Jessica was always there for us handling everything we threw at her in such a calm and caring way, I don't know how we could have got through those dark days without her reassuring help, support and care. Jessica is a Star!
My late father’s finances were complex and I was concerned that his estate administration would be difficult. Jessica Measham TEP, Associate, was recommended to me – I’m very glad that she was.
