This case involved three components: Property Lease; Variation of a Limited Liability Partnership Agreement; Preparation of a new Will. Solicitors were Simin Hough, Laura Leventhall and Laura Ruffell. The process was started in September 2025 and I had expected it to complete by 31/12/25. The case turned out to be more complex than anticipated, in part due to tardiness on the part of the new tenant's solicitors, the need to vary the LLP Agreement prior to grant of the lease, the need to terminate existing Grazing Licence Rights on the land (dealt with by myself) and the required consent of a prior landowner due to an overage agreement. The WGA team did a good job on dealing with all aspect being completed in early June 2026. Simin, Laura and Laura did a good job and my only concern was that responses to my emails along the way were often slow, in part because each individual is, I believe, part-time employed with no cover to pick up at least acknowledgement of receipt responses. In contrast, I have worked with your Ely residential property team (Jackie Murfitt) on two transactions in 2025 and was impressed by the speed of acknowledgement responses to my emails, and action updates. So I would flag that communication speediness, even if no progress has been made on the case, would improve an otherwise good service level.
