In our roles as financial planners we evaluate our clients current financial situation, and determining their short and long term financial goals, then creating a strategic plan to meet these goals and objectives. Part of our life planning process is discussing and dealing our eventual death and what our requirements are for dealing with our estate. A will is the only way to make sure your money, property, possessions and investments (known as your estate) go to the people and causes you care about. A will that has been drawn up by professional persons who demonstrate Care and the willingness listen is priceless! At the start of my journey I had no experience of solicitors and I was going nowhere with the situation I was in; bewilderment probably sums it up. Speaking with professionals can quite daunting and intimidating at the best of times, but when you're going though a big life situation it can be hard to trust that people have your best interests at heart. Chris quickly built rapport with my family and I felt he took the time to really understand my situation. He was professional, empathetic, responsive and a real advocate for my individual needs. He often translated legal jargon for me too in a way that I could understand and was always on hand to answer questions. I felt represented and now, looking back, I couldn't imagine being supported by anyone else. Chris has allowed me to come to a positive conclusion which has allowed me to move on with my life. I have not met Chris Bishop in person and have only dealt with him electronically via email and phone, then mid Covid a meeting via Windows Teams but I know that he has dealt the issues in a most professional and empathetic manner with a more than satisfactory outcome.
