At an extremely emotional and difficult time of my life Amanda Phillips-Wylds made me feel heard, understood and supported right from our first meeting. Her approach was calm, caring and compassionate but still very professional. Along with Senior Paralegal Aalia Hajee-Hussain communication was excellent. They went above and beyond to give me reassurance and explain every step of the process especially when I was totally overwhelmed. As a woman of a certain age, technology is not my strong point but Amanda and Aalia were there to help and willing to meet in person at the office if need be. They were only a phone call away at all times. Amanda’s legal expertise gave me confidence and reassurance. She listened to my opinions and input which were always considered. Her choice of counsel to support me during the FDR was chosen to suit me personally and my needs. Amanda and Aalia also were an amazing support at this time. Can’t recommend Family Law Partners highly enough. I was treated with respect and kindness throughout by my solicitor and her supporting team. They were extremely knowledgable and efficient through a very difficult and lengthy life experience, I couldn’t have asked for more.

I dealt with Deniz who showed nominal interest in my case. He went on holiday without telling me. I phone the company but no one was able to help in his absence. What should have been a quick sake took 6 months despite my asking Deniz what was happening he had answers I do not recommend this company based on my experience.

I instructed Lauren Heathcote to assist me with an application to vary an existing Child Arrangements Order. My objective was to secure a 50/50 shared care arrangement for my son. Lauren not only supported that goal but, together with the excellent barrister she recommended, successfully obtained a Joint Lives With Order and secured the discharge of a restrictive order that unnecessarily limited my attendance at my son’s activities and events. Throughout what was inevitably a difficult and emotionally charged process, Lauren was outstanding. She combined professionalism, diligence and sound judgement with a calm, measured approach. She provided clear advice, kept a close eye on costs, and remained focused on the overall objective. One of Lauren’s greatest strengths is her quiet determination. She was never distracted by hostility or unnecessary conflict, instead staying focused on achieving the best possible outcome. I was particularly grateful for the effort she made to secure my preferred barrister for the final hearing. Through persistence and strong relationships with chambers, she persuaded them to rearrange an existing commitment so the barrister could represent me. That made a significant difference and demonstrated her commitment to her clients. What impressed me most was the quality of Lauren’s work. During the final hearing, the judge twice commended the preparation and presentation of the case. In my view, that reflected the careful and professional approach she had taken throughout. It also contrasted sharply with the more aggressive tone adopted by the other side and helped the court focus on the issues that genuinely mattered. The final outcome exceeded my original expectations, and I have no doubt that Lauren’s skill, judgement and dedication played a major part in achieving it. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lauren Heathcote to anyone needing family law representation, and I would gladly instruct her again in the future.
