After being let down by another solicitor firm i instructed Helen at EMG solicitors for a buy to let purchase. Due to many factors we had to complete this transaction in a short time frame so as soon as the instruction was given, Helen and her team got to work straightaway. They updated me regularly throughout the stages and kept me in the loop with any issues they felt may arise or be of concern. Everything was explained in great detail. Very knowledgeable team and would highly recommend. They managed to turn this one around quickly for me. Hopefully will be using again for future purchases.

This was a straightforward transaction that was completed in a good timeframe. The onboarding process was quick and communication was generally prompt. However, as first-time buyers, we felt unsupported throughout. We were expected to review complex documents and form our own views, with little guidance provided even when we specifically asked for advice. Communication often lacked clarity, some questions were only partially answered, and several emails went unanswered. On more than one occasion, we also had to remind the team of matters already agreed with the other side. Throughout the process, the estate agent working for the seller had more up to date and accurate information about how the matter was progressing. Overall, the transaction was completed efficiently, but we would not recommend the firm if you are looking for advice, guidance or proactive communication.

We recently sold our flat and purchased our new home through EMG Solicitors, and I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough. They made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward from start to finish. Communication was always quick, efficient, and professional. Whenever we had pressure from our buyers or needed advice, the team was there to help and keep everything moving forward. A special mention has to go to Joanne, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. She always made us feel like we were her top priority and genuinely went above and beyond to support us every step of the way. Chloe was also amazing. She was so friendly, approachable, and efficient in her communication, making it easy to stay informed and reassured throughout the transaction. Overall, the service was 10 out of 10. Not only were Joanne and Chloe exceptionally professional, but they were also genuinely lovely people to deal with, which made the whole experience so much better. Disgraceful behaviour by this firm - No communication, lack of empathy, the reason conveyancing transactions drag on and on and on. All parties communicating effectively in a chain of 5 transactions but this firm has put the complete chain at risk of collapse purely through lack of communication for weeks
