    Poor from start to finish

    My husbands’ family had many satisfactory dealings with Nicholson Portnell over many years, however, we were left very disappointed as a result of our recent experience, since they were taken over by Cartmell Shepherd, due to the level of service and professionalism from the conveyancing team, on what we had hoped would be a straightforward Transfer of Equity. Attention to detail, understanding and a client focus was sadly lacking, to the point that the invoice sent, for services that were terminated due to their lack of progress, was distressingly addressed to a deceased family member not involved in the transaction. Their response to us flagging this up showed a severe lack of empathy or ownership!!!

      Conveyancing, which can be complicated, was quick and easy.

      The conveyance process requires answers to a huge number of questions which can be daunting. However I found that using the Cartmell Shepherd App made the whole process easy and most importantly provided a clear update on the progress of the transaction. When visiting their office to sign the contract and transfer Marie was very professional, friendly and delightful to deal with. Based on my experience I would recommend Cartmell Shepherd as an excellent company to deal with conveyancing matters.
