We have always used a different Legal firm which I alway thought were a bit insipid, not inspiring confidence. This was the first time we had used Cartmell’s and we were both pleased with the efficient professionalism of Cartmell’s. Although the house purchase did not happen; on reflection, we are very grateful for the work Elizabeth at Cartmell’s carried out for us. If it were not for her professionalism, we could have walked into an absolute nightmare. We were advised to pull out of the purchase by them. Elizabeth found a number of anomalies in the deeds that would have made us unable to sell the property in the future along with access issues. The vendor had consistently lied to us about regarding ownership and the way the property had been split up. Moral of the story: trust your solicitor and don’t trust the vendor or estate agent! Also, if it wasn’t written down; it did not happen! Would definitely use their services again!

I recently contacted Cartmell Shepherd to take on some work for me. A lovely lady called Kathryn Ingram came to my home, went through everything that I was looking for and explained everything in detail, didn't rush and made sure I understood everything, I can honestly say she was 100 % professional. I received drafts of everything very quickly, was given plenty of time to go through everything thing and then Kathryn returned with the final paperwork. I would highly recommend Cartmell Shepherd to anyone that requires any legal work doing, if I do in the future I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again.

Throughout the will writing process, Kathryn was knowledgeable, patient with my many questions, and ensured I understood everything we discussed.
