Very poor experience with this firm. Instructed for purchase of a flat in Bristol, first time buyers. We had several issues, including incorrect paperwork being sent, multiple typos in the legal documentation being sent to us (we suspect they were not checking these documents before sending them), crucial information being missed/ not making us aware of issues (subsidence, flooding, stuctural issues etc.) forms being sent that weren't completed in full, enquiries not being passed on, miscommunications between our solicitors and the vendors' solicitors and the solicitor managing our case leaving the company with no warning, and no hand over.
The issues we had using this firm are part of the reason we had to withdraw from the property purchase after 5 and a half months. It has caused significant distress to us as well as the vendor. Would not recommend.

I contacted Lyons Bowe Solicitors for a property purchase as a first time buyer with LISA deposits. After onboarding, my file was moved from team to team as progress was being made, which some people might find unusual, but the transition was seamless on my end and every single team did a stellar job. Everybody was very professional, extremely prompt with replies and helped facilitate a completion in 5 weeks from initial contact. From Elijah Phibben (onboarding) to Claire Ford (searches) and Beth Ingham, Tietia Shotton, Zoe Spencer (exchange and completion), every single one was a pleasure to work with. The app they provide is very handy in viewing file information, a to-do list for the client and keeping up with progress. I will gladly recommend them going forward.

Very frustrated with the service we received- you are not allocated 1 solicitor but instead passed across 3 different teams and get someone different replying to you every time. They have been very slow to respond to emails- even on the week of exchange which has made the whole process of buying our first property quite stressful.
