Generally a good experience. The money laundering interrogation (as a cash buyer), which seemed to go on for ever, was really annoying but probably would be the same anywhere.

So quick and helpful, respond to enquiries quickly and always checking in, would 100% use again
Overall, very good. The conveyancer who handled the main part of the transaction (Jada) responded quickly, communication was good, and problems were solved as they came up. Also, the team has backup for holidays, which is really important to keep things moving. My only reservation is that everything is very procedure driven, with each step having to happen in turn, before the case is handed off to the next team. Onboarding took a little while, and then when we were ready to exchange immediately, another handoff with a 4-day response time. So, while the firm manages expectations well, and works faster than the "normal" (glacial) speed that conveyancing works these days, it is still a very slow process, even with no chain. Unlike many firms, Lyons Bowe is willing to have 2 of their solicitors representing buyer and seller, which I feel would have sped things up further, had our buyer not changed his mind and used a different firm. Despite that, I'd still recommend.
