I guess many people don't expect to have to use a solicitor unless your buying a property, but unfortunately we found ourselves in a situation where someone was suing us through no fault of our own so we had to defend it, Not knowing where to start we asked Palmers if they could help We were very lucky to have been put in the care of Jennifer and i say care because she really did. We had the best advise at all times and she got over to the others party exactly what we wanted to say but in legal terms. Jennifer would return any e-mails or telephone calls within a few hours so it felt good knowing you could get a reply without worrying about it. I would highly recommend Jennifer as she had much empathy for our situation which made it easy for us to talk to her. This has now been sorted and we can move on thank you Palmers and especially Jennifer Hitchin.

Gareth has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We had a ongoing boundary dispute with data company in the North of England trying to impose installation of a unsightly 10 metre telegraph pole in the entrance to our property. Despite all our efforts directly to discuss or reason with them going back many weeks, they were completely ignored, and they continued to railroad ahead with proposal. We contacted Gareth who gave excellent legal advice and support in matter throughout contacting company on an ongoing basis and exerting pressure on them (with others supporting us) to their reverse decision. I wanted to leave this review to show how much we "appreciated" getting involved with Palmers. And from the start I want to point out that I am leaving this review as the third party who was involved in this transaction which to our misfortune was handled by Richa Arora. Palmers claim that Richa is a commercial property “expert” but the way the case was handled was anything but professional. It took 9 painful months to get the lease agreed. Not to mention the monies we lost along the way. To give an example it took Richa 3 months just to review references. Now anyone who’s requested references knows that references are not lengthy in content, couple of lines at the most. We were sent dilapidation bill when dilapidation was dropped when they realised the buyer was going to refurbish the whole premises. We lost thousands because they didn’t bother to communicate or understand the nature of the transaction from the outset. Even to the very end things were missed by Palmers. The surrender documents had errors which you’d think would have been picked up by a professional firm/solicitor. During the 9 months I had to look up how you’d get nightmare solicitors to hurry things up and to my surprise I found palmers name mentioned on a website. I would genuinely advise people to avoid this firm because their practices are not in the interest of their clients. Every other week our solicitor would have to send chaser and calls just to get an update. The communication was poor and scatty. I think after this experience It’s left a bitter taste and I would urge caution to anyone looking to get Palmers to do work for you and goodluck!
