    Poor all round

    Lack of updates, had to constantly call up Move me in portal pointless as a progress and communication tool, only seems to be used for uploading docs Rochelle’s tone is incredibly dismissive, rude and hostile Lack of transparency on extra charges, they weren’t explained upfront but appeared on the final bill and were excessive Had to remind, double check and resend things throughout Was told a completion date but then had a last minute call saying the buyer searches hadn’t been returned yet, completion then did not happen for 3 more months

    Poor communication

    Zero communication and then hounded for repeat instruction when my buyer pulled out of sale. I had to beg multiple times for the return of my original documents. Shoddy customer service. I would never instruct them again for conveyancing.

    Dear PCS Legal, I was really holding off from posting this review; however, it feels like I have no other choice. I wish I could give you zero stars, but unfortunately, that's not an option. My partner and I are first time homebuyers and what is meant to be an exciting time has turned into a miserable, stressful wait due to your company. The communication has been nothing but awful. So, since I can't get a hold of anyone in the lovely Sarah Joys team, if you see this the estate agent wanted you to know that this is taking too long and the chain is now ready. As far as they are aware, the sellers solicitors have provided you with everything. We should be close to completion, but sadly we're not. Please, can we speed this up?

    ⭐ 1 Star — Do Not Instruct 🚫 Referred to PCS Legal through an estate agent. Matter with Craig Stevenson, Luke Barton and Yasmin Fugurally. A conveyancer's role is to translate your position into correspondence that protects you legally. What this firm did instead was copy my words straight into emails to the opposing solicitor. Unchanged. ❌ No rephrasing. No protective language. No legal input of any kind. 🙄 There was an admission — Yasmin confirmed it on two separate calls. 📞😶 But the real proof came from the other side. The opposing solicitor and estate agent forwarded PCS Legal's correspondence to me. Verbatim. My own words, sent back to me by the people I was negotiating against. 🤦🤦🤦 And I had explicitly asked them not to copy and paste. That request was disregarded entirely. 😡 When I raised a formal complaint and asked to escalate to Senior Partners Stuart Forsdike and Kate Forsdike, I was directed to Craig Stevenson. 🤔 The same individual my complaint concerned. The firm's stated policy: complaints do not progress beyond the case handler. Full stop. 🤯 That isn't a process designed to resolve anything. It's a policy designed to make complaints disappear. Taking this to the Legal Ombudsman and the Council for Licensed Conveyancers. ⚖️📋 ⚠️ Avoid. 🚫 Instruct elsewhere. 👎 If something goes wrong, there is no meaningful route to resolution here.

      As first-time buyers, the conveyancing process felt quite daunting at the start, but Caroline at PCS Legal made the entire experience so much easier and far less stressful. Caroline was supportive, friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout every stage of the process. She always took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, ensuring we understood what was happening and what was required from us. No question ever felt too small, and her patience and reassurance gave us real confidence during what can be a very overwhelming experience. Her communication was excellent, and she kept us informed every step of the way. We genuinely felt that she cared about helping us and ensuring our purchase progressed as smoothly as possible.
