I found the firm very professional and approachable which made the whole experience go as smoothly as possible. Wills are never nice with some difficult questions, but asked and dealt with in a friendly and courteous manner which made it as pleasant as could possibly be. Would definitely use again and can't recommend highly enough.

We were trying to deal with our mums passing and her estate. The solicitor we had at the time made a complete hash of it, and even lost the will! We moved to McHale & co which was the best decision we have ever made. Our solicitor was Paul Brocklehurst who was very thorough, approachable. Professional and had a good sense of humour, which lifted us when we were feeling down. He listened to our issues and then explained the options at a level we could easily understand. We appointed Paul then and there. To cut a long story short, he applied for and got a grant of administration as the previous solicitors had lost will. Paul paid all creditors so we could then acted on mums wishes and her estate was closed. All throughout the process Paul kept us up to date which was brilliant. I can’t recommend McHale & Co highly enough and especially Paul. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you Paul.
I recently asked McHale and Co. to draft my will. I found that the pre drafting discussion was very thorough and Grace (Kennedy) was very helpful in answering my questions and giving appropriate advice. All in all I was happy with the service and will no doubt return to the company in the future.
We had an online appointment to get mirror will setup and paid over £500. Then silence for over two months. No response to email or voicemail left on office number. I had to request chargeback through my payment card provider to put a closure and move on. Only then received a response to email for understanding reason and offer instantly drafted will which I am supposed to hastily review and accept. The experience received was poor for what it was worth, they don't seem to care after payment is taken.
We are very pleased with Jess in the recent preparation of our wills. She was friendly, efficient, knowledgable and a good communicator - a first rate ambassador for McHales.

Walking into a solicitor's office to discuss my divorce was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I was anxious, heartbroken and overwhelmed, but from the moment I walked through the door I was treated with kindness, patience and understanding. Both Lindsey and katarzyna showed both experience and professionalism which gave me confidence, but it was their compassion that made the biggest difference. I never felt like just another client. They listened, reassured me and supported me throughout a very difficult and emotional process. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me. There was lots of tears from myself, many cups of coffee (which were very good by the way) and a ton of empathy which I really needed. Lindsey made me feel safe and that is a huge thing when you are feeling so vulnerable. I genuinely do not think I could have got through it without their support. I will always be grateful and would recommend this company all day long to anyone going through a difficult family situation. Fergus Delgarno . . How can I thank you enough? After six months and four other solicitors working on my case with no luck whatsoever. They hadn’t got the other side to admit liability after a hit-and-run , even though we had the registration number from witnesses who saw the accident. I hadn’t gone back to work. I had started to borrow money, and all my resources were running dry. Fergus heard about my story from a friend . A week later he was in command , and from that day forward things immediately changed . Two weeks later he rang and told me they had admitted liability and would I like an interim payment to cover my rent which I’d borrowed, and cleared my overdraft at the bank. What an absolute legend. At all times I was constantly updated via emails, texts and phone calls. Operations , which I had two of. All physio and appointments were chased up if needed. I cannot praise this man enough. Communication perfect!!! Professionalism perfect!!!! Efficiency perfect !!!!!! Outcome absolutely perfect!!!!! If you’re a biker and involved in an accident, or a biker that’s not.
