We had another solicitor when my mum died. They were dreadful, never returned phone calls/emails and then lost original Will and then offered to request Letter of Administration at a slightly reduced fee!!! We lost all faith and confidence in them and looked for another solicitors. Luckily we found and engaged McHale & Co who restored our faith in solicitors again. From the first meeting to completion they were brilliant, easy to contact. Proactive, always kept us up to date and helped us with any questions we had in ways we could understand without being condescending. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. Thanks.

I found the process of changing my will through McHale and Co pleasant but efficient and timely. I was dealt with professionally but in a friendly and approachable manner; and appreciated the advice I was given. I will, definitely use them again.

We are very pleased in the recent preparation of my will. Karen Ackerleywas friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and a good communicator.
We were trying to deal with our mums passing and her estate. The solicitor we had at the time made a complete hash of it, and even lost the will! We moved to McHale & co which was the best decision we have ever made. Our solicitor was Paul Brocklehurst who was very thorough, approachable. Professional and had a good sense of humour, which lifted us when we were feeling down. He listened to our issues and then explained the options at a level we could easily understand. We appointed Paul then and there. To cut a long story short, he applied for and got a grant of administration as the previous solicitors had lost will. Paul paid all creditors so we could then acted on mums wishes and her estate was closed. All throughout the process Paul kept us up to date which was brilliant. I can’t recommend McHale & Co highly enough and especially Paul. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you Paul.
I recently asked McHale and Co. to draft my will. I found that the pre drafting discussion was very thorough and Grace (Kennedy) was very helpful in answering my questions and giving appropriate advice. All in all I was happy with the service and will no doubt return to the company in the future.
We had an online appointment to get mirror will setup and paid over £500. Then silence for over two months. No response to email or voicemail left on office number. I had to request chargeback through my payment card provider to put a closure and move on. Only then received a response to email for understanding reason and offer instantly drafted will which I am supposed to hastily review and accept. The experience received was poor for what it was worth, they don't seem to care after payment is taken.
We are very pleased with Jess in the recent preparation of our wills. She was friendly, efficient, knowledgable and a good communicator - a first rate ambassador for McHales.

I had a great experience working with Katarzyna on my Separation Agreement. She was professional, responsive and always kept me updated. Her excellent communication made the process straight forward. I highly recommend her. Susie prepared my Deed of Release of Beneficial interest professionally and efficiently. She communicated clearly, responded promptly and made the process easy. I would highly recommend her services.
Very transparent - constantly gave us updates and ended up chasing up on our side when we were too slow to act! (Which is quite rare). Good, clear communication with explicit instructions - part of our case involved people who don't speak English very well and the translation services were handled excellently.
