I cannot thank Abigail Hamer and Watkins & Gunn enough for the support they gave me and my daughter. I approached several law firms for help with a very difficult education and transport matter concerning my disabled daughter with EHCP. Unfortunately, most of firms were careless or treated us as another customer at the till. Abigail showed genuine care and concern, she took the time to actually call us, listen carefully to what had happened and ask what the outcome had been. She genuinely cared about the situation rather than simply treating it as another enquiry. Abigail then went out of her way to help us prepare properly. She was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and reassuring throughout. We were particularly impressed with her care and willingness to go the extra mile. At a very stressful time for our family, she gave us confidence that we were not facing the situation alone and someone actually cared. Thankfully, the issue was resolved, meaning that formal court proceedings were not necessary. I am extremely grateful to Abigail for the time, care and effort she put into helping us. I was working on a site when one of the pieces of equipment moved and hit me in the shoulder. I reported the incident and after a while I realized that there were some movements that were uncomfortable. I kept track of the equipment, the place of the accident and the people who were near the accident. I was told to keep all the workplace records and medical documents. The process was explained to me in great detail, which helped me because I had no prior experience with this kind of workplace injury.

I was cycling through a junction when a driver failed to give way while turning across the cycle lane. I braked hard but still collided with the side of the vehicle before falling onto the road. My elbow, shoulder and hip were injured and my bicycle needed extensive repairs. Cycling was my main way of getting to work so it caused loads of disruption. Someone came to my house, completed the paperwork and managed the claim professionally.
