An efficient and communicative service from Taylor Walton dealing with the sale of my mother's house. All done with very little stress in a little under three months. As with all transactions of this nature these days, the hardest part was the identity and AML checks, but their system made it relatively painless.

The staff are professional, efficient and highly responsive. Edward and Luccia always kept us well informed and we felt in safe hands throughout the whole process. All in all it was a fantastic service and we highly recommend Taylor Walton.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Taylor Walton during a recent property purchase was well below the standard expected of a professional conveyancing firm. Communication was a constant struggle. Many of my questions went unanswered or were met with vague, non-committal replies that didn’t clarify the legal position. I often felt I had to chase repeatedly just to understand what was happening, and at times I was told something would be done only to later discover that the responsibility had been shifted back to me without any clear explanation. There were also several lapses in attention to detail — including sending a completion statement that omitted an agreed price reduction, requiring me to point it out. Updates were frequently incomplete or confusing, creating unnecessary stress throughout the process. Especially given how long and complex the transaction became, I expected more proactive guidance, clearer communication, and a more supportive approach. I’m glad the purchase is now completing, but the experience was far more difficult than it needed to be. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Taylor Walton based on this experience.

Requested a simple Land Registry change. Taylor Walton Harpenden didn't check the dates thoroughly so the application as rejected. When I saw there was a requisition, I sent multiple emails to them to seek an update; they were all ignored. It wasn't until I called multiple times did they update me and require me to do the process all again. They were very defensive and unsympathetic through the process. I really wouldn't recommend them and have been felt quite stressed by the whole ordeal. Not a company I would aim to use in the future.
