    We used this solicitors for both sale and purchase conveyancing over the last 6 months. We found their communication fairly slow and, at times, almost dismissive. Of greater concern was multiple miscalculations on stamp duty and documents either not being sent to us or gone missing at their end. Seemed to be nice enough people but probably understaffed. Wouldn't be using again.

      First class service

      Having been appointed executors for the will of a relative my wife and I instructed Andrea Ashton of Maxwell Hodge solicitors to act on our behalf. Andrea navigated us through the stages we were responsible for in a patient and professional manner and ensured assets and liabilities were properly accounted for. She prepared and submitted the documentation necessary for applying for Grant of Probate and inheritance tax paperwork as well as ensuring appropriate income tax returns were submitted using a third party firm of accountants. Her advice and guidance made a most daunting process much easier to negotiate and without doubt we would not have managed it without her.
