Excellent Communicators

We dealt with Ashleigh who was professional and always available, even during this challenging times. Always patient, even with me being a complete pain and always chasing her for progress reports. Would definitely recommend Ashleigh and her team looking to move home.
Thanks.

Very poor communication

Having completed and returned a deeds document to verify for my new build home purchase, I was informed that R&N would 'revert back to me' with further details once notification had been served by the Builder. After two weeks of being in the dark, I contacted R&N asking for an update, only to be told that I had 3 days (inc Sat/Sun) to vacate my existing property! I had received no postal correspondence, email or phone conversation with respect to the notification. Shocked that this firm of Solicitors expects their clients to be telepathic. So unprofessional, a discredit to the values of Conveyancing.

Avoid this cowboy establishment

Avoid this firm at all costs. Incompetent and unprofessional. Been waiting 6 weeks for 1 hour work to be completed (which I’ve been waiting 11 weeks in total ). I’ve been waiting 3.5 weeks so far for someone to return my call or email me on an update on my case (resulting in costs stacking up from other sides solicitor). Highly disrespectful and incompetent.Wish I read some of the reviews before choosing them and went somewhere else. Gutted I’m still having to chase them for work they haven’t done.

First time house buyer

Having been my first time buying a house I was very unsure of which solicitors to choose I rang round a few and Don once able to provide me with an email breakdown quote within minutes. Straight away he took on this challenging buy and was very easy to talk to throughout. Due to unforeseen circumstances the process took a longer than it should have however Don was always keeping me informed and in the loop he was always easy to get hold of and when he was away there was numerous other people who were able to help me. Being my first time buying a house I was very unsure on many things Don gave me excellent advice and happily explained any jargon without it seeming to be a burden. I feel I got more than my value for money and will defiantly use them again!!

Very poor, rude and completely unprofessional

Shockingly poor service provided by Rogers & Norton during my recent flat purchase in March 2018. After querying the invoice where the Conveyancing Exec Lauren Elliston had misquoted, alongside a couple of other queries regarding incorrect fees, in the four days leading up to the proposed move date she completely ignored my communications and amazingly cancelled the mortgage fund request, effectively sabotaging the purchase.
After complaining to the company Directors her manager Steven Clarke took the case over and got the sale through at the last minute. To be fair he was very professional indeed (albeit I did not receive an apology at the time for Lauren's behaviour). He agreed all my invoice and fee queries were correct and that Lauren had indeed made the error and sorted them out too. However I had missed my initial move date to great personal, time, and monetary cost.
I have received no apology from the company since then, my official complaint has been ignored and I have had no communication whatsover from Lauren. I am currently launching an official complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.
My advice would be to avoid this Mickey Mouse company at all costs and never deal with Lauren Elliston directly. In my opinion she is rude and completely unprofessional.
