Henry was professional, friendly and made us feel very comfortable when we met him to sign a declaration of trust. He went the extra mile to schedule our meeting at a time that worked with our jobs and replied to emails promptly. He gave clear and comprehensive answers to our questions. Overall he made our first in person meeting of a solicitor extremely positive.

From the outset, 2020 was not a good year for us! We had 2 deaths and resulting estates and house sales that needed legal management. Additionally we had another house sale and purchase. I will cover below our experiences of each R&N service. Estate Management headed by Laura Rumsey. The Will had been previously drawn up by R&N at the explicit wishes of my mother (the deceased) It was known it would be contentious in content and R&N had drafted a letter explaining the content signed by my mother to be sent to beneficiaries on her death, which in itself stopped any valid challenge. This in mind, Laura handled the communication with the beneficiaries professionally and with empathy. She obtained Probate, arranged valuations keeping us informed but we felt everything was being well controlled. The second death was unexpected, a Will hade been drawn up by the deceased himself. Paperwork was a mess, no audit trail of assets. Laura and her team reconstructed his affairs, which included shares, Isa's, premium bonds.... everything you can imagine, she handled Probate estate agents again, to bring the estate to satisfactory closure. This was all during the very difficult Covid lockdown period. Property Sales headed by Vikki Lambert. Vikki took up the gauntlet when Laura' s role ended, she managed both property sales efficiently and expediently handling correspondence from estate agents , ourselves and the purchasers. Both sales went through quickly and without problems. We were so impressed with her service that when our son decided to move house in London, we asked Vikki to handle that as well. She picked up some potential financial issues with the new property and flagged those up, but also chased non responsive Management companies successfully. Once more both sale and purchase was completed timeously and very much to our satisfaction. Finally..... hand on heart we recommend R&N unreservedly, both Estates/Wills/Probate and Conveyancing teams are competent and responsive - with them you we think you will be in safe hands!

I recently used Rogers and Norton to deal with a sale of property for my late mother in law's Estate, and separately for a purchase of a property for my Brother-in-law. Both transactions were handled professionally and we were kept informed of progress throughout the process. Both Steven, and his secretary Catherine were very approachable and we were very happy with the service we received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and will definitely use their services again myself, if the need arises.
