Unfortunately I didn’t have a positive experience. Whenever I called, it felt I was an irritation , both in tone of voice and abrupt manner.. There were a number of emails that weren’t responded to. Freeholders shared the same experience regarding lack of response to emails.. Paperwork went missing and never at any point did I receive an apology. There were a number of things I didn’t understand about the sales process and although I asked both on the phone or via email, there were numerous occasions when I didn’t receive a satisfactory response.I was so unhappy with the service throughout that I made a list of dated incidents should I decide to make a formal complaint. I would certainly never recommend this firm.

Unfortunately, our experience with Hansells during our house purchase was extremely disappointing. Although they were acting for the sellers rather than us directly, their lack of communication caused significant delays throughout the transaction. Our purchase ended up taking almost six months to complete, and much of that time was spent waiting for responses and information that should have been provided much sooner. Communication with our solicitor appeared poor, and we were ultimately forced to exchange contracts the day before completion because matters had not been dealt with in a timely manner. Moving house is stressful enough without unnecessary delays and uncertainty. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Hansells.

Unfortunately, I was not particularly impressed with the service we received during the purchase of our chalet. The purchase took considerably longer than the completion date we had hoped for, which was very frustrating. Emma Bumphr​​ey was initially dealing with our purchase, but I found it extremely difficult to get through to her. I could never speak to Emma directly as I was unable to get past the receptionist. I often found myself having to chase for updates, and at times I felt like I was being a nuisance for doing so. I feel the communication could be improved. When Emma went on annual leave, Sue Lloyd took over the matter and things did seem to progress more quickly. However, overall I felt that the process required far too many phone calls and too much chasing from me to get things moving. We did eventually complete the purchase and are very happy to have our chalet, but unfortunately the experience with the solicitors was much more stressful than it needed to be.

Excellent service attention to detail very good. Would recommend Hansells to all thanks. .

I used Hansells as my Solicitors for a resent property purchase and would very much use them again. They weren't the cheapest option, but were very much worth it. My Solicitor, kept me updated regularly, and answered any questions I had. More importantly they were on top of everything and any delays were very much a case of waiting for a reply or action from the sellers Solicitors.
