After calling literally 40 or so solicitors to try to get a basic understanding of whatever I had an employment claim, with not one willing to even give an answer that wasn't wrapped up in a £300 to 400 an hour fee to even give a most basic yes or no, James and Kathrine were so understanding and professional with clear advice what would be needed moving forward and the path forward without an initial charge. Injured at work. Employer finally accepted full liability after 4 year’s but that didn’t stop them from attempting to push 100% of the blame back on myself. Used tactics such as character assassination, work ethic, etc. What they couldn’t hide was the overwhelming proof that they did not train or supervise their staff and used unskilled and low paid labour. Case finally wrapped up mid March 2025.

Catherine worked with me over the 8 month duration of my claim. After a particularly traumatising workplace incident I was unsure if I even wanted to proceed with a claim as I knew it would be an emotionally difficult process. Catherine and her team were always understanding, patient and clear with their explanations of what the process would involve and what the next steps would be. Everything was handled smoothly and sensitively. Appointments with medics were organised for me. Catherine always made time to speak to me on the phone, or to reply promptly to my emails, to keep me updated with the progress of my claim. She made all the legal jargon very easy for me to understand in layman’s terms. It is an arduous and emotional process putting a claim through, but Catherine was warm and professional and kind at all stages.
